- The real test is to send the same the same way 2 or 3 times with each
- modem and time them.. the 33.6 throughput and connect speed are two
- different things,, the 33.6 is mostly code and compression tweaking..
- a true 28.8 connect is really very fast,, I have aV.everything that
- connects at "28.8" with a BBS that has nothing but Sportster 33.6 on
- it and I have repeatedly downloaded zipped files at 3600 to 3900
- characters per second that is compared to my best 14.4 connection of
- 1625 to 1700 characters per second...... Try the test and let me know
- what you find... I would be interested to know how it comes out...
